This website is run by Future Leaders Institute Charter School, 134 West 122nd St., New York, NY 10027. These terms apply to anyone using it. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
How the school handles information sent through the site is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
The site is provided for general information about the school. The school works to keep it accurate, but dates, times, programmes, staff, and openings can change, and a page may be out of date. Where the site differs from a notice sent by the school, a policy adopted by the Board of Trustees, the family handbook, or the admissions application, those documents govern.
Sending a form on this site is not an application for admission and does not enter a child in the lottery. Applications are made through the school's online admissions application. A visit request is a request until the school confirms a time. A job application is not an offer of employment, and a posting may close at any time.
Nothing on this site is legal, medical, or financial advice.
The text, photographs, video, logo, and design of this site belong to the school or are used with permission.
Photographs and video on this site show members of the school community, including children. They may not be copied, downloaded for reuse, altered, republished, used to identify anyone, or used to train any software, without the school's written permission.
Public documents published here, such as board minutes, reports, and policies, may be shared in the form they are published. The school's name and logo may not be used in a way that suggests the school endorses anything.
Do not use the site to break the law, to send false information or information about someone you are not entitled to give, to impersonate anyone, or to send files that contain harmful code. Do not try to get around the site's security, overload it, or collect information from it by automated means beyond ordinary search engine indexing.
Information you send through a form should be accurate, and should be yours to give. A form that asks about a child should be completed by that child's parent or guardian.
The school may refuse, remove, or not respond to any submission, and may restrict access for anyone who misuses the site.
The site links to services the school uses but does not run, such as the online admissions application, Zoom, and social media. The school is not responsible for their content or how they handle information. Their own terms apply once you are on them.
The site is provided as it is and as available. The school does not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or free of harmful code, and may change or remove any part of it at any time.
To the extent the law allows, the school is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, from not being able to use it, or from relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or any duty the school has under the law, including on student privacy, accessibility, admissions, and civil rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute about them is for the courts located in New York County.
If these terms change, the effective date above changes with them. Using the site after a change means accepting the new terms.
