At Future Leaders Institute, the standards are high for both students and staff. FLI is fully committed to ensuring that our staff members are equipped to deliver an exceptional education to all students by providing them with the following:
With the Common Core standards as our guide, teachers have real room to bring creativity to their lessons. Curriculum maps, instructional specialists, and ample teaching tools support the work.
Every teacher needs and deserves professional support, whatever their experience. FLI provides instructional and curriculum assistance matched to each teacher's needs, with constructive feedback throughout the year.
Everyone at FLI is encouraged to learn from each other. Teachers meet for weekly Professional Learning sessions to sharpen their craft through shared practice and discussion.
Teachers are as effective as the resources they are given. FLI equips classrooms with state-of-the-art SMART boards, tablets, and mobile laptop carts.
Data guides instruction here. Staff collect and analyze formal and informal assessments, student portfolios, conferences, and observations to monitor each student's progress.
Strong teachers create great students. FLI offers ongoing development through observations, one-on-one coaching, teacher-led case studies, and consultants in English Language Arts and math.
