This policy explains what information this website collects from visitors, why, and who can see it. It applies to this website only.
It does not cover student records. Those are governed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and by New York Education Law § 2-d, and are handled by the school directly rather than through this site.
The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. Submissions are recorded in a spreadsheet held in the school's own Google account, and may also be emailed to the school's admissions address. They are used to answer you.
The visit request form asks for your name, phone number, email address, and the grade your child is entering. It does not ask for your child's name. If you reached this site from one of the school's adverts, the request also records which advert. Requests are recorded and used in the same way.
The short enquiry form asks for your name and email address, and a phone number if you choose to give one. It does not ask anything about your child. If you reached this site from one of the school's adverts, or from a page about one programme, the enquiry also records which. Enquiries are recorded and used in the same way.
If you apply for a job through this site, the application form collects your name, email address, phone number, and the résumé and cover letter you upload. These are used to consider your application.
Nothing on this site asks a child for personal information.
Like most websites, this one runs on hosting that keeps ordinary server logs. These record things such as the address of the device requesting a page, the browser used, and the page requested. They exist to keep the site running and secure.
This site uses the following services to count visits and to measure the school's advertising. They load when you open a page, without asking first, and they set cookies on your device.
Google Analytics: measures which pages are visited and how people arrive, so the school can tell whether the site is useful. It reports patterns, not individuals.
Meta Pixel: records visits, and whether a visit request was started or sent, so the school can measure the reach of its posts and advertising on Facebook and Instagram. This shares visit information with Meta.
No child's name is collected by these services. You can turn them off on this device with the control below, and they do not load in a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Turning them off does not limit any part of this site.
The school uses outside companies to run this website and to receive form submissions: a hosting provider, Google for the spreadsheet, and an email delivery service. They may only handle the information in order to provide those services.
The school does not sell your information, and does not share it for anyone else's advertising.
You can ask what information the school holds about you from this website, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact the school and it will be actioned where the law allows.
You can use this site without submitting a form. Nothing on the site requires you to identify yourself in order to read it.
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
