This policy explains what information this website collects from visitors, why, and who can see it. It applies to this website only.
It does not cover student records. Those are governed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and by New York Education Law § 2-d, and are handled by the school directly rather than through this site.
The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. Submissions are recorded in a spreadsheet held in the school's own Google account, and may also be emailed to the school's admissions address. They are used to answer you.
If you apply for a job through this site, the application form collects your name, email address, phone number, and the résumé and cover letter you upload. These are used to consider your application.
Nothing on this site asks a child for personal information.
Like most websites, this one runs on hosting that keeps ordinary server logs. These record things such as the address of the device requesting a page, the browser used, and the page requested. They exist to keep the site running and secure.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It does not track you across other websites.
The school uses outside companies to run this website and to receive form submissions — a hosting provider, Google for the spreadsheet, and an email delivery service. They may only handle the information in order to provide those services.
The school does not sell your information, and does not share it for anyone else's advertising.
You can ask what information the school holds about you from this website, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact the school and it will be actioned where the law allows.
You can use this site without submitting a form. Nothing on the site requires you to identify yourself in order to read it.
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
